Acne-prone skin is a skin type that has a higher tendency to develop comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), papules, pustules, or deeper cysts (nodules). It doesn't mean you have active acne all the time, but rather that your skin's biological makeup makes it more susceptible to breakouts in response to certain triggers.
