Refund policy

Change of Mind Returns (7-Day Cooling-Off Period)

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, you have 7 days from receipt of your order to change your mind. If you no longer want the product(s) you have ordered, you may return them to our physical store Tends Retail, Unit C7, Innovation Worx, Corner 16th Road & End Street, Randjespark, Midrand, Gauteng, 1685, South Africa within 7 days at your own expense.

Requirements:

  • Products must be unopened
  • Original packaging must be intact
  • You must email us first to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number

We will provide you with a Tends Retail store credit that can be used for future purchases. Monetary refunds are not available for change-of-mind returns.

Defective, Faulty, or Unsuitable Goods

In accordance with Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, if goods are defective, faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have the right to:

  • Return the item within 6 months of purchase
  • Choose a repair, replacement, or full monetary refund
  • Have shipping costs covered by us

To process a return for defective goods:

  1. Email us at tendani@tends.co.za with photos of the defect
  2. Obtain an RMA number
  3. Return the item to our address

Refunds for defective goods will be processed to your original payment method within 30 days.
